This blog is designed to give you information on Compromise Agreements. Most employees in this economic climate are being given a Compromise Agreement to sign by their employers on being made redundant. The employee is required to take legal advice from an independent legal advisor to ensure that the employee understands the full implications of what the employee is signing. If you are an employee, you must understand your employee rights. We have put together legal updates on the law for both employers and employees. There is also a link to a video explaining the standard provisions that are usually included in a compromise agreement which should be of use to both employees and employers.
